UNLEASH THE INNER CREATIVE

with Abstract Painting

Abstract art is an intuitive art form, and often people struggle with over-thinking or allowing the inner critic to block the flow. In this 5-part workshop, I guide participants through the process of listening to the important messages of the inner critic, while gently nudging it to step back and let the creative juices flow. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to express themselves in a more open and creative way.

Workshop series include all supplies and hands on instruction. No experience is necessary, simply bring some clothes you can get messy in and an open mind and heart, and we’ll make some dreamy art that you can bring home and be inspired by. Held at the Rockslide Gallery where you’ll have full access to my studio and supplies, hands on instruction from me, demonstrations, feedback, troubleshooting tips, plenty of inspiration and more.

"Taking Natalie’s abstract art workshop was one of the most transformative creative experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I stepped in, her nurturing presence dissolved any hesitation or self-doubt. Natalie’s guidance on techniques, her unfolding of color, texture, negative space, layering and more; all helped me reconnect with a deeper, freer part of my artistic voice I didn’t even know existed.

The 5 class format was perfect: enough time to explore, experiment, layer, make mistakes, and then turn those “mistakes” into something unexpectedly beautiful. She shows you techniques, yes—but more importantly, she helps you listen to your intuition, let your inner critic soften, and truly play. By the end, I didn’t just walk away with finished paintings, but with a renewed sense of possibility, joy, and confidence in my creativity.

Whether you’ve never picked up a brush or have been painting for years, these classes aren’t just about art, they’re about self-discovery."
