Welcome back to the TD Art Gallery Paint-In, painting the town since 1987!
The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is excited to bring back the 33rd TD Art Gallery Paint-In. Embrace Vancouver Island Art and artists in a full day of celebration under the sun! Celebrate up to 150 local artists and enjoy community, arts-based groups transforming Moss street into a colourful art gallery. Explore your love of art with friends and neighbours, connect with local artists as they demonstrate their craft, and stop at the Imagination Stations for art-inspired activities.
Get a taste of local eats and drinks at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria grounds (1040 Moss Street). Vibe with local music and performances in the family-friendly beer garden, open to 6 PM. Bonus – the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria will be open for the entire day to see BC’s second-largest art collection admission by donation!
The TD Art Gallery Paint-In is the annual fundraiser for The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, helping us to connect the community to art and artists!

" Potluck" - Collaborative Art Show
Local artist Andrea Soos was looking at her pile of canvases that, for whatever reason, didn’t make it to the finish line. She talked it over with friends, and together they came up with a plan to compile a POTLUCK of artists to take all of those “failed paintings” and to take on the challenge of creating something new from something old.
This is a testament to the over abundance of camaraderie we all share to one another as artists in the city of Victoria. This is not a competition. it’s a coming together to create new work and push boundaries.
Show ingredients:

• a dash of willingness
• many mediums
• LOVE for the process and to be a part of something bigger than ourselves
Join us October 2nd 5:00-7:00 for an opening at the Northern Quarter. Show will stay up until November 2nd.

This winter (Jan-May 2019), I am taking my art supplies to Mexico for an extended stay. My work will be on exhibition in Victoria at my studio, The Livet and Tres Fantastico. My studio assistant Laurence will be taking care of my practice in Victoria, helping current or new collectors with questions, purchases and shipping.

This is a special open studio sale that I’m having after a lot of requests for my small fluid works, from pours to alcohol ink pieces, to resin works. Sizes start at 6” and go up to 3 feet, with prices from $50 and up. Last year these pieces almost sold out as they are very unique gifts.
This sale will also include a Clear Out of the remainder of last years works, with 30%-60% off of the regular price. It’s a great opportunity to get original art for yourself or as a gift, at a really great price.
